The book provides insight into Sidney and Lue Ollie’s historical unification, as well as the Fields children born within this union. Also, Sidney and Lue Ollie’s journey to entrepreneurship, family life, and troubled times. Brenda Fields also reflects her life experiences through education, employment, relationships, raising her sons, adopting a granddaughter, the tragic death of her niece, military life, and interviews with people who gave me their views on racism that took place in the 1950s and 1960s.
